REGISTRATION

Registration

Children are registered for entry (usually in September) when they are rising two and a half. There may be occasional places at other times of the year. The offer of a place is subject to availability.

Places are confirmed before Christmas for the following year entry date. If you are interested in registering your child please download and send. Registration does not guarantee a place. For further information please contact the Principal.

AUTUMN TERM 2024

Staff Inset Days Thursday , 5th and Friday, 6th September (no school)

Dates of term Monday, 9th September – Thursday, 12th December

Half Term: Thursday, 24th October – Friday, 1st November (inclusive)

Staff Inset Day Wednesday, 23rd October (no school)

SPRING TERM 2025

Staff Inset Day Tuesday, 7th January

Dates of term Wednesday, 8th January – Friday, 28th March

Half Term: Monday, 17th February – Friday, 21st February (inclusive)

Staff Inset Day Friday, 14th February (no school):

SUMMER TERM 2025

Staff Inset Day - Wednesday, 23rd April

Dates of term Thursday, 24th April – Wednesday, 9th July

Early May Bank Holiday – Monday, 5th May (no school)

New September Intake ‘Welcome Day’ – Friday, 23rd May (no school)

Half Term : Monday, 26th May – Friday, 30th May (inclusive)

SCHOOL HOURS

Core Sessions (Morning):
9am - 12.15pm (Monday - Friday)

Extended Hours:
Lunch Club - 12.15pm - 1pm (Tuesday - Thursday)

Afternoon Sessions including Lunch Club:
12.15 pm - 3pm (Monday - Thursday)

Forest School:
1pm - 3pm (Mondays) - numbers are limited and on a “first come first served” basis

Caterpillar Group:
One optional afternoon on Tuesdays (1.30 - 3pm) in the Summer Term prior to children starting in the September.


FEES & FUNDING

Barnes Montessori Nursery participates in the Early Education Funding Scheme (EEF). The 3 - 4 year old EEF is a universal funding that is effective the term following the child’s third birthday. Further information on request.

The School has an extensive list of school policies which are available upon request. They are reviewed annually and more frequently if necessary.
