All afternoon and extra options are renewed termly. Planning and staffing have to be organised well in advance. Numbers for ALL the different extra options are limited and are on a “first come first served” basis This means your child will not automatically be able to take up the options they might have had the previous term. This particularly applies to Forest School. This form is for Afternoon Sessions, Lunch Club, Forest School and French. Numbers for ALL options will be capped. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays we will give priority to those staying for the whole afternoon over lunch club.
Please return by Monday, 24th February. For administrative and planning purposes I would be very grateful if these could be returned (hard copy or electronically) whether you want to take up the options or not. These options can be paid together with this form (with some reduction if paid immediately – except for the Forest School option) or together with next term’s fees.
For Forest School (and other options) ‘take-up’ payment to be made with the attached form or return form having made BACS payment. (Payment details: Sort Code: 40-02-35; Account Number: 51055704; please make sure you put a reference and let me know when payment has been made).
Forest School - This will take place on Monday afternoons. The Forest School will be the afternoon session and there will be no other afternoon session at school. I hire out land for this to take place at the Leg O’Mutton Reservoir area and a qualified and specialised Forest School leader. In addition staff from the school also attend. Please note the children do have to walk a little way to the site and back. In some cases we find the children are not really ready and we will advise you.
This will take place after the lunch club and children to be collected from school at 3pm. French– optional extra as currently. You would need to book your child for the afternoon session on Tuesdays (French). However your child may do Tuesday afternoons without taking up the French option.
Please note: Summer Term (form sent out the previous half term)– July leavers will have priority over children staying on for another year. This priority – should there be places -will apply until midnight GMT on Monday, 17th February. Then a ‘first come first served’ basis will apply for all.
Please note there are more leavers than places. Equally all leavers do not want afternoon options.
The Summer Term is very popular so numbers for all options will be capped.

Lunch Club – Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Children who are staying just for the Lunch Club must be collected at 1pm. Numbers are limited. Depending on availability there may be the occasional place at short notice. Please note there is no lunch club on Mondays (unless staying for Forest School) nor Fridays.
